本書は厳密には事実に基づく創作だが、事実の部分が多いのでここ（NF)に入れた。ドイツに永住した著者が、難民とはどのような人たちで、なぜ自分の国を逃げ出さなくてはならなくなったのか、ドイツはなぜ難民を多く受け入れたのか、感情や理想だけでは進まないという事実、文化の違いから来る誤解、イスラム教徒もそれぞれに違うこと、難民がドイツになじむために行われている教育などについてもわかってくる。多様な視点が登場するのがいい。
